Rosanna Hope has been interested in all types of design since she was a child, making fanciful accessories for her paper dolls. For more than a decade, she owned Yummy Gram Inc., a high-end gourmet candy store in Oak Park, Illinois, where she created unique and elaborate candy baskets and handmade chocolates that were featured in the Christmas catalogue for Neiman Marcus. After attending the Academy of Merchandising and Design in Chicago, Illinois, she has for many years designed luxurious hats featured in many Kentucky Derby fashion shows.

Today, Rosanna splits her time between her home in Miami Beach and her 250 acre sheep and tree farm in Minnesota, and her original handbag designs often reflect influences from these areas. Her 'Winter Wonderland' handbag collection features hand-dyed felted wool from sheep raised on her farm that has been blended with lush fibers of mohair, alpaca, angora or silk, and embellished with thick gorgeous Mongolian Lamb imported from Tibet.  Her 'Tropical Breezes' collection showcases hand-painted and embroidered silk  and other exquisite fabrics accented with fresh-water pearls, coral, jade and other fine jewels . All her handbags contain special accents, such as hand-made silk and leather flowers, glass or gemstone beads, feathers, vintage fabrics or hand beaded  handles.
